Balls, Bubbles, & Balloons FUNshop for boys ages 5-9 $35
Start: 5:00 pm
End: 7:00 pm

*Please note! Pre-registration is required for our educational workshops. You may purchase a class here on our website, call in with a credit card (724-219-3001), or mail in a registration form. A $10 deposit is required to hold a space. Balance is due on the day of the class. Please call before purchasing to check on availability and times.

 

Balls, Bubbles & Balloons FUNshop:

  • Learn about gravitational forces, states of matter and laws of motion experimenting with balls, balloons, and bubbles of all sizes!
  • Test payloads with helium balloons, make giant bubbles, as well as engineer and construct courses for marble wall runs.

 

  • All classes taught by an experienced elementary teacher.
  • All FUNshops incorporate state and national science, technology, engineering, and math standards.
  • FUNshops offer a choice of same gender or co-ed classes.
  • Class size maximum is 10 students for greater one on one instruction.

Pajama Party Storytime
Start: 7:00 pm
End: 8:00 pm

Our FREE monthly pajama party storytimes are scheduled on the last Friday evening of the month. Join us for a themed story, craft and cookies and milk! All ages welcome, however stories are geared toward ages 2-8. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring stuffed friends, blankets and/or pillows! Held in the children's section at our store. RSVP is not necessary, however it does help us to prepare in advance if you would like to let us know you are coming! Give us a call at 724-219-3001 if you are planning on attending or have further questions.

Crazy Chemical Concoctions FUNshop:

  • Learn about elements, compounds, and mixtures through experimentation.
  • Create cool chemical reactions using safe ingredients (going beyond baking soda and vinegar).
  • Create concoctions such as edible slime, floam, and silly putty!

 

  • All classes taught by an experienced elementary teacher.
  • All FUNshops incorporate state and national science, technology, engineering, and math standards.
  • FUNshops offer a choice of same gender or co-ed classes.
  • Class size maximum is 10 students for greater one on one instruction.
